If you’ve ever seen the band, however, you realize that The O’s do not merely live up to expectations, but exceeds one’s expectations by at least a few thousand light years. The live shows are truly awe-inspiring, touching, and fun, all rolled into one melodious package. I am honestly proud to say that I was able to get The O’s to play my showcase in Dada last month.
You might have picked up a copy of their debut CD, We Are the O’s, at my showcase. If not, never fear: tomorrow is the official release date of the album. For those more into MP3’s, the album has been available for download on itunes for awhile. The band will also perform on Fox Channel 4’s Good Day Show at about 8:45 a.m., so be sure to TiVo that. I believe the following day the band will return to one of their favorite stomping grounds, Barley House, to perform. Then on Thursday night, Good Records will be where you can find The O’s. They will play a set at 7 p.m., and yes, alcoholic beverages will be provided to those over 21. And Fort Worth people, fear not: The O’s will have a CD Release Party at Lola’s Stockyards along with The Orbans and GOBL faves the cut*off. O yes, this week will rock.
